Fruit works at a morning meeting, a shower, a picnic or beside a heavy dessert table, and it is the easiest tray to say yes to when guests have different diets.

• Watermelon Wedge Platter: $59 a tray, 40 to 45 pieces. We list it as seasonal.
• Chocolate Covered Strawberries: $69 a tray, 35 to 40 count. Vegetarian and gluten-free.

The fruit display does not come with a printed piece count, so tell us your headcount and we will say how many trays to order. We plan about one to two pieces per guest when fruit is one part of a bigger spread.

Ideas by occasion

Keeping fruit fresh at the event

Fruit is a cold tray. Leave it covered and out of direct sun until guests arrive, and set it on the table close to serving time. Put it away from the hot trays so it does not warm up. If you are setting up for a meeting, let us know the pick-up time and we will have it ready.
