What to know before you order

Lunch for a crew or a shop

A job site or a shop floor wants food that is filling and easy to hand out. Basic boxed lunches are $14.50, with a 20-box minimum, and each is individually boxed on a fresh baked French roll. For something hot, Italian beef au jus is $90 or $150 a tray, with French rolls at $11.99 a dozen. Coffee is $89 for 50 servings. Order three days ahead and tell us who will receive the delivery.

Drop-off trays for family gatherings

A reunion or a Sunday dinner works well with trays: no service charge for drop-off, and no minimum. Herb roasted chicken is $80 for 20 pieces, baked mostaccioli is $45 or $75, and mashed potatoes are $49. Buttered fresh green beans are $49. Chafing dishes are $17 per hot dish and plates, napkins and silverware are $1.50 per person. A written quote lists every price before you commit, and the quote stays valid for 14 days.

Graduation open houses

Buffet Menu 1 at $18.99 per person is the standard for a graduation open house, with herb roasted chicken, baked mostaccioli, meat loaf and pulled pork. Buffets start at 20 guests. May and June Saturdays go first. Add an assorted dessert tray at $59 for 40 pieces and a cooler of bottled water at $2.49 each. The deposit is 25% and credits to your balance, so the date is held once it is paid.

“My wife and I had Upper Crust for our wedding. They did an absolutely fantastic job! Extremely professional, great communication, fantastic food, great service, and they are very willing to do the little details if needed (flexible!). They made us feel less stressed, we could trust them, and we feel like we received great value for the price we paid. I would recommend this caterer to anyone!!”

“We had some catering done by Upper Crust for our son's high school graduation. We had used them previously for a wedding reception as well. The food is always excellent and there were so many people who said how good it was. I have always been impressed with this company. They are kind and courteous and will always answer all your questions. Great job!!!”

Which road do you use to reach Morris?
Route 47 south from Yorkville is the road we expect to use, but the driver plans the exact route the night before. Delivery is quoted by distance when you order. Tell us the street address so we can quote correctly.
Can we order lunch for 12?
Yes. Our smallest office lunch was 12 guests. Boxed lunches start at 20 boxes, so for 12 order a sandwich platter at $79 or a deli platter at $95, which have no minimum.
Is there a gluten-free hot choice for a crew order?
Chicken oreganato by the tray is gluten free, $80 and serves 20. Our kitchen handles wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, nuts, fish and shellfish, so we cannot guarantee trace-free food. List every restriction when you order.
How much is catering delivery to Morris?

How far ahead should I book for an event in Morris?
3 days for a drop-off order and 14 days for a staffed event is comfortable. Weddings and graduation weekends in May and June book months out; funeral luncheons we can often do with a day's notice.

Yes. Boxed lunches, hot buffets and breakfast arrive at the delivery time you choose. We deliver across Kendall, Kane, Will and DuPage counties.
Some guests have allergies or dietary restrictions. What do I do?
Tell us in advance. Our chefs prepare separate meals for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal or allergy-specific guests. There is a dietary notes box on every order.
Can you provide staff for my event?
Certainly. Our servers set up and maintain the buffet, clear tables, and break down and pack your leftovers. Staff is $35 per hour per server with a four-hour minimum, plus a 20% service charge shared with the whole team.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. Weddings take a 20% deposit of the estimated cost. Other events take 25%, paid online when you accept the quote. Deposits are non-refundable and are credited toward your balance, which is due seven days before the event.
