What to know before you order

Italian dinners for a milestone

A birthday or an anniversary calls for dishes people recognize. Baked lasagna is $50 or $90 a tray, meatless mostaccioli is $39 or $65, and eggplant parmesan is $95. Hand breaded chicken parmesan is on the buffet entrée list. Add garlic bread at $19.99 for 12 pieces and a classic Caesar salad tray at $49. Buffets start at 20 guests if you would rather have the full spread.

A backyard party for a crowd

For a summer afternoon, pulled pork is easy: a tray is $95 and serves 20, with slider sandwich buns at $12 for 24. Pair it with BBQ baked beans at $49, creamy cole slaw at $55 and a watermelon wedge platter at $59. Iced tea, punch or lemonade is $89 for 50 six-ounce servings, cups included. Plates, napkins and silverware are $1.50 per person, so the party table is complete.

Desserts for the toast

Sweets finish the evening. Cheesecake squares are $59 for 35 pieces, lemon bars are $59 for 40 and homemade apple crisp is $49, serving 12 to 15. The chocolate drizzled mini cream puffs are $45 for 50, a good choice for a room of mixed ages. Dessert trays travel with any order. Order them with the main trays and everything arrives together. Chocolate covered strawberries at $69 per tray are gluten free, if one of your guests avoids wheat.

“My wife and I had Upper Crust for our wedding. They did an absolutely fantastic job! Extremely professional, great communication, fantastic food, great service, and they are very willing to do the little details if needed (flexible!). They made us feel less stressed, we could trust them, and we feel like we received great value for the price we paid. I would recommend this caterer to anyone!!”

“We had some catering done by Upper Crust for our son's high school graduation. We had used them previously for a wedding reception as well. The food is always excellent and there were so many people who said how good it was. I have always been impressed with this company. They are kind and courteous and will always answer all your questions. Great job!!!”

More in the full FAQ, or call (630) 553-9533.

How many people does one Italian tray feed?
It depends on the tray. The larger baked lasagna is $90 and the smaller is $50, with two sizes on mostaccioli too. Eggplant parmesan is a single $95 tray. Call (630) 553-9533 with your headcount and we will tell you how many trays to order.
Do we need to supply our own chafing dishes?
No. A chafing dish set is $17 per hot dish and yours to keep, and a stainless steel rental is $20 and returned after your event. Order them with the food and they arrive together.
