Downers Grove is twenty-five miles from the Yorkville kitchen, a suburb of offices and neighborhoods where Route 34 becomes Ogden Avenue. The usual run is Route 34 through Aurora and Naperville, or I-88 and I-355 when traffic favors the tollway. We lay out the delivery route the night before, and the driver texts when five minutes out. Delivery to Downers Grove is quoted by distance when you order, and pick-up in Yorkville is always available.
When the room needs a lunch that sits out well, platters do the work. A sandwich platter is $79 and a deli platter is $95. Add tossed mixed greens at $49 and a tray of home baked cookies at $45 for 40. Trays and platters have no minimum, so a department of 12 can order without padding the count. Trays turn a plain meeting room into a hot lunch. Herb roasted chicken is $80 for 20 pieces, baked mostaccioli is $45 or $75, and mashed potatoes are $49. Buttered fresh green beans are $49 and dinner rolls and butter are $9.99 a dozen. A chafing dish is $17 per hot dish and yours to keep, or $20 if you prefer a stainless rental we collect after your event.
For a milestone party, Buffet Menu 2 at $19.99 per person adds chicken piccata, chicken marsala, Yankee pot roast and roast turkey. Buffets start at 20 guests. Plates, napkins and silverware are $1.50 per person. Our birthday and anniversary page shows how families usually build the menu. If the guest list is under 20, trays are the better fit, since they have no minimum and no small-party surcharge. Everything is cooked from scratch in our own kitchen and a family can reheat leftovers the next day.
