Bridal shower food ideas that are easy to serve: menus for 20 to 30 guests

The easiest bridal shower food ideas are finger food that can sit on a table for two hours: our Shower Package, $21.99 a person, with croissant sandwiches, salads and sweet treats, or a tray menu of Assorted Finger Sandwiches, $89, 60 pieces, fruit and a dessert. Option one: the Shower Package

The Shower Package is $21.99 a person, with a 20-guest minimum, and it covers croissant sandwiches, salads and sweet treats. It is the least to think about. You give us the count and the date and we plan the rest.

• 20 guests: 20 x $21.99 = $439.80
• 30 guests: 30 x $21.99 = $659.70
• 40 guests: 40 x $21.99 = $879.60

Add 9.25% sales tax. If you want staff on site, that is a staffed event and needs 14 days' notice. Staffed servers are $35 an hour each with a 4-hour minimum, and the invoice shows it all on one sheet.

Option two: a tray shower for 30

If you want to choose each item, here is a menu we would suggest for 30 guests at a daytime shower:

That is 120 sandwich pieces, 4 a guest, plus salad, fruit and 85 or more sweets. Total $494, which is $16.47 a person. With 9.25% sales tax it is $539.70. Add Plates, Napkins & Silverware at $1.50 a person, which is $45 for 30.

Brunch shower

For a morning shower, the Continental Breakfast is $11.99 a person, vegetarian, and a Breakfast Tray: Vegetarian is $69 and serves 20. Coffee is $89 for 50 servings, and Orange Juice, Apple Juice or Coffee is $2.49 a person. For 30 guests, Continental Breakfast is 30 x $11.99 = $359.70. Put a fruit display and the strawberries next to it and you have a brunch menu. Our breakfast menu has the rest.

Make it feel like a shower

We do not sell decorations, so bring the flowers and signs. What helps is food that looks pretty by itself on a black lacquer tray: the fruit display, the strawberries and the finger sandwiches. Set the sweets apart from the savory so guests can reach both. Put the drink at one end and the plates at the other, so the line moves.

Ordering

We need three days' notice for standard orders. Pick-up in Yorkville has no delivery charge, and delivery is quoted when you order. If your venue is a hall or a home, tell us whether there is a kitchen or a fridge, and whether someone can receive the order. How much food do I need for a bridal shower?

We plan about 4 finger sandwich pieces a guest, a scoop of salad and fruit, and 2 to 3 sweets. It is a planning guide, and guests eat less than at a dinner.
