Our Thanksgiving Dinner is $22.99 per person with a six-person minimum. It is the whole meal: sliced roasted turkey breast, whipped potatoes with giblet gravy, sage stuffing, roasted sweet potatoes, buttered green beans, cranberry sauce, dinner rolls and pumpkin swirls, cooked from scratch in our Yorkville kitchen and packed cold for you to reheat at home. Reheating instructions come with the order. Order by Thursday, November 19. Pick up Wednesday, November 25, between 9:30 AM and 12 noon at 109 E. Hydraulic Ave., Yorkville. A whole Pumpkin Pie is $16.99 extra. Call or text (630) 553-9533 to order.

What is included

Every dinner has the same eight dishes, portioned for the number of people you order for:

The one add-on is a whole Pumpkin Pie, $16.99, spiced and silky. One pie is usually right for six to eight people; order two if your table loves pie or you want leftovers on Friday.

What it costs

The dinner is $22.99 per person, six-person minimum. Sales tax of 9.25% is added. There is no delivery on this menu; you pick it up at the kitchen.

  • 6 people: 6 x $22.99 = $137.94 before tax
  • 8 people: $183.92
  • 10 people: $229.90
  • 12 people: $275.88
  • 16 people: $367.84
  • 20 people: $459.80
  • Pumpkin Pie: $16.99 each, add to any order

Example: dinner for ten with one pie is $229.90 + $16.99 = $246.89, plus 9.25% tax ($22.84), $269.73 in total.

Order for the number of people who will sit down, including the teenagers who eat for two. If you want turkey sandwiches on Friday, order for two or three more than you are seating.

Deadline and pick-up

  • Order by: Thursday, November 19. Call or text (630) 553-9533, or ask for a quote and put "Thanksgiving" and your headcount in the notes.
  • Pick up: Wednesday, November 25, 9:30 AM to 12 noon, at 109 E. Hydraulic Ave. in downtown Yorkville, a block from the Fox River.
  • Bring a cooler or a couple of laundry baskets. The dinner comes in containers meant to go straight into your refrigerator.

We cook for the orders we have, so we cannot promise space after the deadline. If you miss it, call anyway and we will tell you honestly whether there is room.

Reheating

The dinner is packed cold so that it reheats properly on Thursday rather than sitting warm for a day. Written reheating instructions are in the bag with the order, dish by dish. Follow those; they are written for the exact containers and portions you take home. In broad terms, the turkey, potatoes, stuffing, sweet potatoes and green beans go in the oven, the gravy warms on the stove, the cranberry sauce is served cold, and the rolls and pumpkin swirls need only a few minutes to warm through. Plan on the oven being busy for a while, so set the table and pour the drinks first.

If you have questions on the day, call (630) 553-9533.

Why families order dinner instead of cooking

Thanksgiving is about four hours of cooking for the host and about forty minutes of eating for everyone else. With our dinner, you spend Thursday morning reheating, not peeling. The turkey is a boneless breast, roasted and sliced, so there is no carving and no carcass. Everything is made in our kitchen from scratch, the same kitchen that has fed Yorkville weddings, funerals and graduation parties since 2003.

It also suits a split holiday. If you are hosting a second Thanksgiving on Friday or Saturday for the other side of the family, pick up on Wednesday, keep it refrigerated, and reheat when you need it. Ask us about timing when you order.

Hosting a bigger crowd

The to-go dinner is portioned per person and scales to any size over six. If you are feeding thirty or more and would rather have it set up as a hot buffet in chafing dishes at a hall or an office, that is a different order: see holiday party catering for buffet prices from $18.99 per person, or call us and we will work out which is the better fit.

Where to find us
